A tiny preview of what the shopping experience could be like in the future. The most exclusive fashion stores will probably be the first ones to use this. Anyway, I already love it!

Seguro que las casas más exclusivas de indumentaria serán las primeras en incorporar este sistema por un tema de precio, practicidad y cantidad de clientes que frecuentan la tienda. ¡Más que práctico y útil!

This doesn't feel right

If you are as big a fan of the TV-series "The Big Bang Theory" as I am you have probably already watched the episode where Penny accidentally shoots the cushion on "Sheldon's spot" with a paint ball gun. To cover it up she turns the cushion around. But when Sheldon sits down he notices that something is wrong with these exact words: "It doesn't feel right".

Have you ever put on a piece of clothing and got this exact same feeling? It captured you when it was displayed on the hanger, but once you jumped into it something was off. But as you just loved the print or whatever it had that captured your attention you buy it. As time passes by you become more and more frustrated with it, because it is to short, or it's to tight, or whatever.

I am starting to understand the importance of figuring out when something it truly worth buying it or not. And when I have finally found that thing that I've been needing for a long time and it fits and it feels great, have the guts to go ahead and buy it.

The link I attached I believe is a good interpratation of that feeling, when you just know that something is right. Well, that is if you are a cat lover like myself :)

Pendant With Dark Pink Stone

This pendant is so far the one I like best. The stone is synthetic (lab created) but reflects light beatifully. It was sold to me under the name of its color and is probably and imitation sapphire or ruby. The chain you see in the pictures was not fabricated by me, but the pendant was made from scratch. I melted the silver and copper as to create 925 sterling silver, poured it to an ingot and then worked it to create the structure that holds the stone as you can see.

Este colgante es, de los que he hecho hasta ahora, el que más me gustó. La piedra es sintética (creada en un laboratorio) y refleja la luz hermosamente. Me la vendieron bajo el nombre “Rosa Francia” que en realidad sólo es el nombre del color, pero para que tengan una referencia vaga, sospecho que es una imitación de safiro o rubí. La cadena que ven en las fotos no la fabriqué yo, pero el colgante si lo generé desde cero. Fundí la plata y el cobre en las proporciones justas para crear plata esterlina 925, hice el lingotito y lo trabajé de tal modo de crear el engarce que soporta la piedra.

Lately I have been taken by the beauty of stones and precious metals. I discovered my new passion while taking some jewelry classes and reading a great book by McCreight called "Complete Metalsmith" which I highly recommend weather you already do or plan to make some jewelry yourself.

I hope you enjoy my creations. 

En los últimos meses he sido cautivada por la belleza de las piedras y los metales preciosos. Esta nueva pasión la descubrí mientras estaba tomando clases de joyería y leyendo un excelente libro escrito por el autor McCreight titulado "Complete Metalsmith" el cual les recomiendo si están involucrados en la creación de joyas (es en inglés).
